Humans can do things for prophecies to come to pass

When humans receive prophecies, they can do things (and can be expected to do things) for these prophecies to come to pass.

Prophecies can have conditions:

Prophecies can have conditions, and those conditions can be expected to be fulfilled by the people who received the prophecy for the prophecy to end up coming to pass.

For example, it is written: "let us reason together,” says the LORD" (Isaiah 1:18), "IF you are WILLING, AND OBEY Me, YOU SHALL EAT THE GOOD OF THIS LAND" (Isaiah 1:19).

Here the people are expected to be "WILLING, AND OBEY" (Isaiah 1:19) for the prophecy to come to pass.

Faith and patience... not without works:

For prophecies to come to pass, humans can be required to have faith and patience, as it is written: "be-demonstrating the same diligence toward the full-assurance (of) hope until (the) end, in-order-that YOU-MAY NOT BE SLUGGISH, BUT imitators (of) the (ones) INHERITING THE PROMISES THROUGH FAITH AND PATIENCE" (Hebrews 6:11-12).

Faith can be expected to have works, as it is written: "FAITH, if it-may not have WORKS, is dead by itself" (James 2:17).

Engaging in works that align with the prophecies:

For prophecies to come to pass, people can engage in works that align with the prophecies

For example, Paul wrote to Timothy: "I-am-depositing this instruction (with) you, (my) child Timothy, in-accordance-with the PRECEDING PROPHECIES about you, in-order-that BY THEM YOU-MAY-FIGHT(AS-A-SOLDIER) THE GOOD FIGHT" (1 Timothy 1:18).

For prophecies to come to pass, people can engage in preparatory works that go in the direction of the prophecies.

For example, the LORD said to Joshua that "having arisen, CROSS OVER THE JORDAN (RIVER), you and all this people, into the land, which I give to them" (Joshua 1:2-3).

Joshua and the people were required to obey God’s instructions. This implied that they also had here to engage in preparatory works that go in the direction of that prophecy, to allow for the prophecy to also come to pass, such as preparing things to even be able to cross the Jordan. It is written: "And Joshua commanded the scribes of the people, saying, “Go into the midst of the camp of the people, and command the people, saying, ‘BE PREPARING PROVISIONS; for yet three days and YOU ARE CROSSING OVER THE JORDAN" (Joshua 1:10).

Avoiding evil works done in an attempt to make the prophecies come to pass:

People have to avoid evil works done in an attempt to make prophecies come to pass.

For example, David was prophesied to be the next king after Saul. Although God already anointed David as king in 1 Samuel 16, David did not engage in the evil work to kill Saul (who was the king that the time) because Saul was still anointed of the LORD, and the LORD was against doing harm to his anointed ones.

In 1 Samuel 16, David was already anointed to be the next king, as it is written: "the LORD said to Samuel, “Arise, and anoint David, for he is good.” And Samuel took the horn of oil, and ANOINTED HIM in the midst of his brothers. And (THE) SPIRIT OF THE LORD LEAPED UPON DAVID FROM THAT DAY FORWARD. And Samuel arose, and departed to Ramah. And (THE) SPIRIT OF THE LORD DEPARTED FROM SAUL" (1 Samuel 16:12-14).

In 1 Samuel 24, David had the opportunity to kill Saul, but he did not because even though David had already been anointed to be the next king, yet Saul was remaining the current king and had been anointed for that, as it is written: "the men of David said to him, “Behold, this (is) the day which the LORD spoke to you, (that) He would deliver Your enemy into your hands; and you will do to him as (is) good in your eyes.”" (1 Samuel 24:4), "And David said to his men, “Far be it to me because of the LORD, if I should do this thing to my lord the anointed of the LORD, to lift my hand against him; FOR HE IS THE ANOINTED OF THE LORD.” So David persuaded his men by (his) words, and did not allow them, having arisen, to kill Saul" (1 Samuel 24:6-7).

It is written in Psalms that the LORD said: "DO NOT TOUCH MY ANOINTED (ONES)" (Psalms 105:15). David followed this principle and did not the evil work of harming Saul to make the prophecy being the next king come to pass already.

How to know if God is here with the process?

When God announces a prophecy, He can do things for the prophecies to come to pass.

If a human is doing works in the direction of the prophecies, and God intervenes in the process, then God is also behind the prophecies, working for them to come to pass and aligning the person accordingly for the prophecies to come to pass.

For example, Paul was sent to announce the good news, as he wrote: "Christ did [...] SEND ME forth [...] TO-BE-ANNOUNCING-THE-GOOD-NEWS" (1 Corinthians 1:17).

Yet sometimes God would intervene as Paul wanted to do some things, as it is written about "Timothy" (Acts 16:1) that "Paul wanted this (one) TO-GO-FORTH with him" (Acts 16:3) and "they-went-through the Phrygian and Galatian region, HAVING-BEEN-FORBIDDEN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT to-speak the word in Asia. And having-come opposite Mysia, THEY-WERE-TRYING TO-PROCEED INTO BITHYNIA and THE SPIRIT (OF) JESUS DID NOT ALLOW THEM. And having-passed-by Mysia, THEY-CAME-DOWN TO TROAS" (Acts 16:6-8).

Here when Paul wanted to go forth somewhere (in accordance with the prophecy he received), God intervened in some cases to not allow Paul to go where he wanted, and so as a result Paul tried to consider another way (in accordance still with the prophecy).
