Things prophesied can be true:

Things prophesied can be described as "TRUE". For example:

Words prophesied can be true: 

Words can be prophesied: "Jeremiah PROPHESYING THESE WORDS" (Jeremiah 20:1 (LXX)).

Words (prophesied) can be true: "Blessed (is) the (one) reading, and the (ones) hearing the WORDS (of this) PROPHECY" (Revelation 1:3), "THESE WORDS (ARE) trustworthy and TRUE.
