John the Baptist

John the Baptist was considered to really be a prophet, as it is written about the crowd that "they all were-holding (as to) JOHN that he REALLY was (a) PROPHET" (Mark 11:32).

Jesus said that John the Baptist testified to the truth, as He said: "You have-sent-out (messengers) to JOHN, and he-has-testified (to) the TRUTH" (John 5:33).


Jeremiah

Jeremiah was considered a prophet, as it is written about "JEREMIAH the PROPHET" (Matthew 27:9). 

Jeremiah said to someone: "in TRUTH THE LORD HAS SENT ME to you to speak in your ears all these words" (Jeremiah 26:15).

Bar-Jesus

Bar-Jesus was considered a false prophet, as it is written that there was "(a) Jewish FALSE-PROPHET (for) whom (the) name (was) BAR-JESUS" (Acts 13:6). 


Hananiah

Hananiah (who opposed Jeremiah the prophet) was considered a false prophet, as it is written about "HANANIAH son of Azzur, the FALSE-PROPHET" (Jeremiah 28:1).
